DAY THREE

Hit the ground running with a walking tour of Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Soho, and Shaftsbury Avenue
In this city of nearly seven million, you’ll see everything from 12th-century fortifications to modern skyscrapers, royal parks to street art. Your Tour Director will take you through iconic sites, like the National Gallery, with an unrivaled collection of Western art that spans over seven centuries; Trafalgar Square, often used for community gatherings and political demonstrations; and Piccadilly Circus, a shopping and entertainment hub with vibrant video displays and neon signs.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and some downtime with your groupmates

DAY FOUR

Continue your tour through London with your Tour Director, visiting Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower Bridge
Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant before heading to Windsor Castle for an in-depth tour
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, the castle has since been home to 40 different monarchs.
Have dinner at another local restaurant and enjoy another quiet evening

DAY FIVE

Spend your morning exploring the Tower of London with your Tour Director
This World Heritage Site is the forever home for the Royal Crown Jewels, which have been stored in the Tower since 1661. The Tower has also served as one of the most infamous prisons of the medieval world. Certain royals even served time in the fearsome Tower of London, including Lady Jane Grey who was Queen of England for only 9 days before being imprisoned by her cousin, Queen “Bloody” Mary.
After lunch, enjoy a leisurely cruise down the Thames River, taking in all the sights and sounds of London
Take a turn on the London Eye, the tallest ferris wheel in Europe, before heading to dinner at a local hotspot
Places, everyone! After dinner, you’re in for one of the hottest show’s on London’s West End

DAY SIX

Get an early start to your excursions outside of London today, joining your Tour Director on a visit to Stonehenge and Bath
The stony World Heritage Site has been puzzling archeologists for centuries. Each individual Stonehenge stone weighs at least 25 tons (aka 50,000 pounds) and much of the height of the stones are buried underneath the ground, leaving only a small fraction of their actual size visible. The very first excavations at Stonehenge took place in 1620, though no records survived to indicate the dig’s findings.
Since the Roman era, Londoners have been escaping to Bath in search of wellbeing and relaxation as the city serves as home to the only natural hot springs suitable for bathing in Britain.
Return to London for dinner and a relaxing evening

DAY SEVEN

Explore the vast wonders of the British Museum, including collections featuring artifacts that date back over 2 million years
After lunch, participate in a high-paced workshop at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, which will be staging a production of one of The Bard of Avon’s plays
The Globe Theatre that stands in London today is the third version of Shakespeare’s “wooden O” playhouse. The original theatre burned down in 1613 during a performance of Henry VIII and the second was closed in 1642. Today’s Globe opened in 1997 and has been staging plays on their magnificent indoor-outdoor stage ever since.
After a full afternoon on the stage, enjoy an evening in the seats taking in another popular production on the West End

DAY EIGHT

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out to explore Oxford, the Cotswolds, and Stratford-upon-Avon
Home to the second-oldest university in the world, Oxford also celebrates a rich literary tradition. Many of the world’s famous authors have called this city home at one point or another, including JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis.
The Cotswolds, a region in southwestern Britain, is one of the most picturesque across the isle. With rolling green hills and towns built of honey-colored stone, you’ll want to keep your camera on hand as you explore. And, if you get hungry, you can always pop into The Porch House pub, which has served patrons since 947AD.
A medieval market town, Stratford-upon-Avon is a must-see for Shakespeare fans. Five houses in Stratford are maintained by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, including the site of his cottage and the home of his daughter.
Enjoy your final group dinner at a local restaurant in London upon your return
